Re: Frustrated and Upset
As someone who experienced the same thing in the same area of Florida first hand, I agree with your observation and I don't think it is going to change any time soon. We have been going to the same small beach access in the panhandle beach area now for several years and I am beginning to recognize a...

Re: Florida Panhandle vacation
Presently in the Florida Panhandle for America’s Independence Day holiday. As usual, I am the only person I’ve seen all day in Speedos. Looks great and seems like you did beach chair service so you were able to secure some beach space with no CU issues. Arena has become my go-to summer suits this y...

Re: Browsing Speedos
...... I have a feeling that I’ve become “creepy old speedo guy” and that’s why my wife is uncomfortable with me wearing them at the beach (I’m in my early 40s). I have the same feeling at time and I am slightly older then you. It's mostly internalized. Until my wife tells me to stop, I think I am ...

Re: Florida Panhandle vacation
So there's a public (ish?) beach by the Whale's Tail and in front of Seascape resort. I wonder if this will cut down on the absolute SEA of people that go there. There's very nice street parking, which is a big draw. Their sister restaurant Louis Louis is a few miles to the East of Grand Boulevard ...

Re: Florida Panhandle vacation
Finally, I don’t know if you ever went there but our favorite restaurant on 30A, The Red Bar in Grayton Beach, burned down over the winter. We’re pretty bummed about it. Miramar has the same issue but if you rent beach service or if you stay at a house that has deeded beach, then it doesn't effect ...

Re: Florida Panhandle vacation
...There's a planned community called Seaside there (with good architecture that I could never afford) that I'd like to visit that has a nice beach, but I don't know what the access is, if any, for non-residents. Customary Use (CU) has thrown SOWAL into a mess as the law was specifically targeted b...

Re: Off the rack speedos--not much left
Interesting, but yes, here in the States, it's down to online or very small boutique stores. There are only two national sporting goods retail chains left that I can think of, Big 5, and Dick's. Despite the irony of their name, Dick's has never been speedo friendly that I can tell. I don't even kno...

Thank you for the post this is going to help me plan my trip to Italy this summer. I am only planning on packing speedo:) Are they any recommendation on a beach near Rome as well I will be there for a few days hoping to add one beach day within a short train ride of Rome. Closest beach to Rome is F...

Re: Tyr Durafast Suits
I would say they are medium softness. TYR Durafast suits are common for swim teams because they hold up to chemicals. That's what my kids use for their swim team suits. They are also double lined and no where near the softness of a lycra suit. What arena are you comparing it to because in general, I...

Re: Florida Panhandle vacation
In Alabama you probably want to go to the area around Orange Beach, but if you want to look at Florida, Destin is another popular destination like Orange Beach. As I said earlier in this thread, the speedo scene in Destin- and in Orange Beach, because it’s roughly the same crowd- is pretty much non...

Re: Florida Panhandle vacation
No, you might be mixing me up with someone else. I'm married, kids and my wife doesn't care what I wear as long as I don't bother asking her if I should wear them or not at places like this. To her, it's just a swimsuit. I can pretty much wear what I want. I'm not into flashy or extremely small suit...

Re: Corka Swimwear
I have and unfortunately, they didn't work for me. I have skinny legs and the leg opening were too big even with size XS. They are definitely a more generous cut like the are described and work better on a wider framed guys - like the shown models. Slim & skinny - not so much IMO. I got rid of them ...

Re: Fuengirola, Spain. Speedo report
Yes, it is. You shouldn't be taking pics of strangers without their permission. Not because people go to a public space they'll want their image on the web for the world to see. Would it be wrong if he put himself *in the photo* and this person was clearly standing in the background? Or, how about ...

Re: Florida Panhandle vacation
If you never been to 30A or area, it's a pretty nice place to visit. Having found this access point pretty good to be at for the family and very comfortable to walk around in swim briefs, I am officially designating it the spot to be at for now on. I would recommend it if you are thinking of coming...

Florida Panhandle vacation
So we are back from our panhandle beach vacation after week and a half stay in the Seagrove beach area of South Walton County. While the panhandle and this area is really, really conservative, I think we settled on a spot / access area that we like. It's across the Tom Thumb on 30A. Since it is a ne...

Re: Jaked swim briefs
That was my issue with these suits. Big leg holes and when I sized down, they didn't cover the butt. The cut was just off for me. Glad to see it wasn't just me thinking the leg holes were wrong.

Re: Good comebacks
It was the underwater hot tub shot in a red suit that I’ve posted here. I just posted it there again. Naked butt shots seem to be quite popular but they don’t seem to be removed. I guess some people can’t handle seeing a bulge. ok, so that's slightly more information...... than previously said befo...

That's absolutely crazy because there are literally hundreds of thousands of guys in swim briefs on instagram. All the major brands have pages too..... Ever think maybe someone who follows you might have reported you?

Re: Jaked swim briefs
how does the back fit? And, are the leg openings the right size? For me, I couldn't get the leg opening small enough to where if I straddled a lounge chair I might have a miss-hap... They were just cut wrong for me. I tried the Green/Blue and another style and both I just couldn't get the sizing rig...
