I had a pair years back. It was ok, although the fit wasn't so good and feel of the fabric was different.
Agreed with the thong … plus you get better exposure and more interesting tan lines!

Yup. I have 'lost' a few suits due to the elastic drying out. It happens. If they are too bad and mis-shapen, I get creative with scissors and have some fun with them, then buy some new suits.

Solars were some of the best suits put out by Speedo. I still have some of the real originals … not the bigger redesigned ones being passed off as Solars … put away in baggies that are still used today.
