I have one in the Beehive pattern. Small enough, fits perfectly, rides just right ... one of the best suits I own.

Actually, I love those photos too. There is nothing hotter than a person in a Speedo and unfortunately, a real sighting is something that is almost non-existent. Unfortunately, even * I * own a pair of boardshorts. There are just times and places where a Speedo or other tiny suit is just not appropriate ... like my bosses pool party. Making the best of this, I actually found a nice pair of stylin' black and gray Body Glove shorts ... light material, not too ...

That ... and you could actually try them on. Not like Internet buying today. Once I got over the initial embarrassment of being seen (and 'the process' ... counted and checking in and out and paying) I would grab three and go into the changing room to find the best fit. You were supposed to try them...

I was young, had extra money and yes, Speedos were definitely available in many places. Most of the chain stores in New England (especially Hermans, Decathalon, Olympia) had a good-sized rack of Speedos, arranged by number size. It wasn't like today ... a couple basic blue and black suits on a tiny ...

The leather briefs are from Germany and do not have any attachment points, but do have nicely placed front and back zippers.
