Yes. Here in Boston I have noticed several guys besides myself in a speedo. I would say we are still very much in the minority but every year it seems to be more and more. I have noticed most guys start in hammers then when they see others in speedos more than half convert.

I agree with lesions. I have been swimming since 5 competitive at times but now just to stay in shape for triathlons.
