G'day Guys,
Welcome to the Speedo Forum.

the one who made the comments in the lesson, I would have written a letter of complaint to the pool operators on the grounds of homophobic comments (a criminal offence) and that if she is not removed from the group then I would not hesitate to take matters further

Re: ...what changed?
A lot of guys are afraid of being labeled gay for wearing a speedo that’s the mentality of USA people. It’s not the clothes that make a person gay I haven’t been lap swimming at all, only lessons or general swims. And have only worn speedos on a few occasions, but only when the other guy I’m with i...

Re: Friends and Family
Our babysitter lifeguards at the gym pool, and her mother works at the desk next to mine. I won’t swim when she’s guarding lest my speedo wearing become a hot topic behind my back at the office. So what? Let her talk, at worst call her out on her prejudice and body shaming / Ask her what damn busin...

Re: ...what changed?
I am not aware of any speedo hate in America. I've been on swim teams since I was eleven, I have coached age groups and HS teams and have swam in Masters for years. I swim every evening wherever I am. I have rarely worn any swimsuit other than a brief for swimming laps. Whoever says brief suits are...

Re: ...what changed?
I like the speedos in your avatar bud, I have a pair thats the inverse of them, however the draw cord on them seems to have been cut short, especially compared with other briefs from speedo in the same size

Re: ...what changed?
My wife doesnt mind, she was a bit dubious at first (she's from North America) but now prefers them on me. My mum doesn't see what the issue with them is....they are swimwear.. I think its an artificially created phobia brought on by USAin tv and other media (on and offline) along with loudmouth col...

Re: who was the last person to see you naked?
Normally my answer would be my wife or someone at the gym. Today it was my daughter. I was working from home, so I stayed in sweats and a t-shirt until early afternoon. After I took a shower, it didn't seem necessary to get dressed. No one else was home, so I ate my lunch in the nude. I'd just fini...

Re: Thoughts on these?
Whatever rocks your boat. Bit too flashy for me, and as Speedo admit - aimed at the younger market. I notice at competition meets that whilst almost every competitor wears jammers for the events, warm ups and swim downs are usually done wearing briefs, and the variety of designs / patterns is overw...

Re: Wearing just a speedo outdoors in cold weather
Shame you're practically at the other end of the country, as I'd be more than up for speedoing it up and going for a walk in just our speedos. The cold doesn't bother me too much, well it does, but moving around doing something is far better that standing around shivering. I've also done quite a fe...

Shrinkage = balls and dick shrivel up in reaction to cold. Happens sometimes getting out of the pool.
adds to the "fun" I suppose lol...

Welcome
I spent some time in both Southern Alberta (not my scene at all....) and Southern Ontario, better but still not overly speedo friendly.

Re: Thoughts on these?
That is strange, I have to buy a bike with a bigger frame to be comfortable for a long back, and I too am completely lacking in the backside department! I take after my old man, he's the same, sadly I've develped a gut like him also (albeit I'm trying to lose it), might get an answer this year as t...
