speedo perfection!! Adidases are so cool. Never seen a Euro Tyr. Like to see another shot of that one. You look awesome in that blue suit.

I like to find suits from outside the US. I don't like the 3" sides on most US suits. If you find a European-cut Speedo type suit, they tend to have 2.0 - 2.5" sides which generally look better. Asian competition suits usually have similar sides but ride lower and have a stretchable back seam -- all the better to accentuate the effect and visibly separate your glutes, as opposed to just tightly smashing them together on suits that don't have the seam.

Aquaman,

Where do you buy the TYR suits with the Asian back seam. I have an Aqux (avatar pic) and an Asian Arena with the vented back seam. Would really like one of the TYR suits in that style.

I have one of the Arena suits in your pic except mine is red striped. I wore it so much it stretched out. Even a surged butt seam fits better than no seam at all.

Most of all the suits I have bought over the years have been on eBay.

I will often search eBay UK and Australia to find stuff that doesn't show up on searches done from eBay.com in the US.

There are a lot of good sellers from Asia on eBay from whom I have repeatedly bought.

I have bought a few suits directly from swim shops in the UK, thus bypassing eBay.

That TYR suit fits great and I really like it. Problem is it's got a high lycra content and is aging -- the newer suits with different fabrics wear much longer, but aren't as stretchy as suits with lycra. Some of my favorite suits I have eventually had to throw away because they just wore out because the lycra degrades over time, even if you take care to wash them afterwards to rinse away the chlorine from the pool.

Just bought two new suits from the UK.

I haven't worn a Maru suit before but have known about the brand for awhile. The other is a new Adidas designed suit.

I'm looking forward to showing them off for you guys and heading off to the pool to get some lap time in wearing them.

like the green, on the left best, but the adidas is different, good choices, i live about 20 minutes from palm springs so i know what you mean for sure when you say it is always a great day wearing a speedo, dhs

i see you are from texas, but also are in palm springs laying out at a pool, sometimes, i live 20 minutes away, but sometimes like this thursday and friday nites have a room at the spa casino downtown and wear my speedo(pink ,multi stripe with red, white and dark purple) to the pool, maybe sometime you can join me for a speedo swim and jacuzzi. you pictures are great, looks like you are tall in that black bikini, i am 6'0" myself,dhs

do you lay out in your own pool or a hotel pool in palm springs? i go to the spa casino pool & hottub, there and hope to be staying the 8th and leaving on the 9th. i got a new speedo swimsuit that has 4 aces & dice on a white speedo with black & red lettering and one more new suit, with the gay pride design, chuck

Finally rejoined. Not sure what happened other than having changed ISPs and that I forgot my password a long time ago. It's good to be back.

I was out visiting a friend who lived in Palm Springs and had the chance to enjoy his amazing pool. I'm in Austin normally. The experience of visiting Palm Springs inspired my house-hunting and I was able to find a house with a pool that is very much like what you'd find in Palm Springs.
