The Steele Johnson and friend wear speedos at Dubi resort. I was very surprised that him and his friend didn't revert to wearing boardshorts but instead choose to wear speedos. But then again I shouldn't be lol.

Frank, Your post here is so ironic, I just left Dubai on March 21 and flew directly to Toronto (a 15 freaking hour flight never to be booked again, but the 6 airline bottles of wine helped lessen the time!), and landed in Speedoboi's Toronto on March 22, the day you posted this! I was enjoying the stay on the man-made Dubai Marina, not the Palm Jumeirah Anantara as Steele was, which actually doesn't have a beach on the sea because it is built on man-made fill, but beyond fancy regardless.

I watched the video seeing all the sights that we saw and went too, which actually, I wouldn't doubt we were in the same traffic jam that night they were out on the Palm. Being the American I am and being the coffee snob I am, I sought out the Caribou Coffee over the Costa Coffee though.

Steele Johnson did a couple of vlogs for Dubai and in one he stated that he forgot to pack swim shorts.
He did a similar thing in Florida a couple of years ago, he only wore his Speedos but he did say he preferred to wear them.
They should bring back speedos for competitive swimming.

Yes I noticed that as well... I even left a comment on one of his videos when he said he forgot to pack his shorts. He responded and said he prefers speedos because he hates shorts tan lines.

He probably said he "forgot" his shorts because it gives him the excuse he thinks he needs from his friends and viewers to wear speedos when he's not diving. I hope he keeps it up!
