Dropping Trou in Change Room

Post by blueflinch » Mon Feb 10, 2020 2:08 pm

This is something I've observed time and again in public change rooms. Guys, especially young guys, when they're changing into their swimming attire, do this quick sneaky head turn - check that nobody's looking - and take off their pants. Of course, they're always facing the wall, so no one can see their junk anyway. But they still have this quick look, to make sure nobody's looking at their bum for, like, the three seconds it's exposed to the glorious cold air. Paranoid or what?

Must be frustrating that God created Man with two "rude views"! Which must I protect? My dick or my arse? I think guys are more protective of their dick view in general.

Usually because they've had it drummed into them that "men are predators" "men are perverts" etc etc and have this phobia of someone accussing them of being a flasher or worse (an extension of Paedo-panic that still runs in the media) along with the awareness of someone with a smart phone snapping a photo to use out of context

Yeah, I suppose people could be concerned about cameras. Honestly, I just thought it was residual homophobia. "Don't dare look at my bottom, mate!" Or shame about penis size ...

I don't mind when other guys are checking me out. I'm actually hoping that someday one will tell me he likes what he sees and want to play around a little. I know it happens in the steam room but it's the young guys doing that. I see teens shower together naked with curtain closed now and then.

The spycam pictures I've seen (stills no doubt from porn films) are always really bad-quality and grainy. I don't know if they're taken from real life or not. But the quality is bad. It would be better for porn companies to just record something with paid professionals in a mock bathroom setting or something. The quality of supposedly amateur stuff is so bad it's not worth looking at IMHO. I don't think the "voyeur scenario" has to be real (and illegal) voyeurism for people to enjoy it ...

Cameras and picture taking are not allowed in the locker rooms at my athletic club. No locker room selfies. However I’d be flattered if someone actually wanted to photograph or record me naked in the locker room. I wouldn’t be embarrassed if it hit the web because I wouldn’t be seen doing anything wrong anyway. Just normal locker room stuff. I think many guys worry way too much about being seen naked. I don’t deliberately draw attention to myself but if another man is turned on by seeing me naked while changing then I guess I’m happy I make his day.

Wish more guys had that attitude. And I’m pretty sure plenty of guys would be delighted to see you naked ;-)

People are self-conscious of their bits... too much porn and insecurity have skewed what they think they should look like.

Thank you. When guys on Instagram ask me to send nudes I tell them that if they want to see me naked they’ll have to come to my gym locker room because I don’t share nude photos.

I would like to mention the older men who are the complete opposite in the locker room.

The ones who seem to take 30 minutes to get any clothes on, spread all their stuff across the room, put one leg up on the bench, talk to everybody who comes in, really work the towel drying their arse crack, and always seem to get changed right at the entrance facing the door so everyone who comes in immediately cops an eyeful.

There was a bloke doing this during kids swimming lesson time last week when there is 70+ kids all learning to swim, and my 4 year old daughter almost headbutted him in the groin coming through the door.

Change rooms, especially at busy/family pools, are for getting changed. Not for naked social time and enjoying an hour of light breeze on your knackers.

Oh come on! What’s wrong with naked social time?😄. Seriously though, I’m one of the old guys who’s not afraid to walk around naked in the locker room. I don’t wear anything while walking to and from the shower and I weigh myself naked. I don’t blow dry though and I don’t stand naked in front of the sink while shaving, brushing my teeth and combing my hair. However I’ve had quite a few naked conversations while changing. A good thing though is that at my athletic club the adult locker room is for 16 years old and up so no little children getting exposed to eye popping views.

In fact at my gym the majority of guys freely expose themselves. It’s the guys doing the towel dance that are in the minority and draw more attention to themselves.

Yeah, that is really weird!!! I've seen that exact thing and wondered wtf are they doing. Naked near the door when you walk in, enough time for me to get dry, changed and fart around, walk out and they're still standing there naked getting changed! Like, how long does it take to get dressed ffs! Next time I see it I'll have to walk it like I'm on the cat walk.

That's ridiculous in a mixed family pool. When I was in my twenties, I was a member of a swim and racquet club in the apartment building where I lived. (Living in the building, I got to use it automatically. Outsiders had to apply for membership.) They had separate locker rooms for men and women. These middle aged guys--middle management executive types--would hang around (so to speak) naked for hours in the men's section. I'd arrive, change, swim, shower, change, and leave, and they'd still be there. Good thing there was a third, smaller, changing area for families and guests. I was probably the youngest in the men's section. One dude kept calling me 'muchacho', which really irritated me. Idiot.

See I have an issue with that comment, it screams of "think of the children, you must stop doing what you've done for years despite no complaints aired and not being against policy simply because I have children", we are ALL born naked, thanks to the Benedictine monks and various religious sects, society has had this bizarre hang up about it and forever thinks nudity = sex, mens changing rooms have had naked men in them for years, I think your reply is why all these young guys are doing "the towel dance" afraid of some irate parent yelling at them / threatening them physically / branding them a pervert / calling the cops with some jumped allegation and all because their little precious "indigo child" saw a penis....

Being a parent doesn't make you lord and master of everyone else, shame so many are under the delusion that it gives them special rights and authority to dictate whats permitted or forbidden.

Harsh words but true, wouldn't have anywhere near as many over-entitled, spoilt, abusive little brats in this world if their parents considered the rights of others rather than thinking the world revolves around their offspring.
