53 and feeling good. Don't believe all that bullshit out there about how it sucks getting older. If you sat on your ass at any age it is going to suck.

No point worrying about getting older. Just enjoy yourself.

If you have the right attitude, your 30s are going to be a lot better than your 20s. You'll still be young, fit, attractive to romantic partners, and way smarter and more worldly than you probably were in your 20s.

Thanks, that eases my mind just enough. I also heard that your 30s are just like your 20s but with money

I, like Scottiebum, posted on page 1 of this thread two years ago, which makes me 49 now. Not in quite as good of shape as I was then, but getting back to it. Anyway, got an indirect compliment from my new doctor when I visited the other day for a check-up. We were making small talk and I mentioned taking my daughter to college. He said "college?!" and then looked at my chart and said, "oh yeah, you're 49". I thought that was cool. I really think swimming for fitness can make you appear and feel younger. And wanting to look good in a speedo is definitely motivation for me when I want to enjoy too much of two of my favorite things in life: beer and pizza.
