I have the Speedo Shoreline square cut. My wife loves that suit on me. It's a pretty decent suit overall and I have no problem wearing that anywhere. I prefer the brief cuts myself, but my wife prefers the square cut if I have to wear anything lycra.
Just a straight guy that enjoys wearing speedos. Life is too short, enjoy wearing what you want.

You know what? As long as you're comfortable wearing one, and you like the way you look in them, who cares what difference does it make who others think? I love wearing square cut suits, as well as speedos. I have worn square cuts to water parks, the beach, pools. I wear them around the house for comfort, too. I'm wearing a Nike one now, as a matter of fact. Buy one, see if you like it, if not, at least you tried one.

I have one Square Cut suit and it was made by Andrew Christian.
I really like the pattern, the yellow edging and the pink drawstring.
Very colorful.
It fits really well; a bit expensive, but well made.
I need to keep searching for additional flattering square cuts.
