He was wearing a red lycra speedo brand speedo.

And, I put it out there that I was surfing and even told the world before hand. You just had to rock up with your surfboard and speedos.

Can't say I don't try boys - hahaha.

Oh, it's an AUSSIEBUM suit! Well, that's all my questions answered - it explains why the togs are so sexy and form-fitting! :P

They are AussieBum's but not for sale anymore so I couldn't find what their name is. They are definitely on the skimpy side (hence the visible tan lines).

Are those, maybe, Aussiebum Gloss Noir ? 8)

Red Speedo,

You are correct but I had forgotten what they were called.

They are a unique material, shiny but much heavier than lycra but still a little bit stretchy. I still haven't had the courage to wear them to the pool but the Married Guy wants me to so maybe we can find a suitable 'trade off' - any ideas?

Dave, those swim trunks in your avatar photo aren't too low or skimpy for wearing to public or family beaches/pools, not at all. Having said that (or typed that), a tremendous part of acceptance in a given setting is a gent's manners, attitudes, actions, his words -- the social graces he possesses and chooses to exercise.

From what I've gathered among forum posts and private messages, the members here are fine citizens and neighbors. I appreciate you making available this forum to the gents and ladies whose swim gear preferences go against the "bigger is better" mindset. So yeah, your trunks are a fine example of what I believe would be "typical" for all guys hitting the beach or pool. Wear what suits you best!

He should definately wear a similar "skimpy" suit. But I wouldn't call that suit on you skimpy, to be honest, most of my suits, are alike that one, and I have ones, which are with even skimpier sides, yet are still speedos.
Cheers, and wear that suit to the meet with Married guy 8)
