That awful *tearing* feeling when Lycra dies

Post by Red^^Speedo » Tue May 07, 2019 5:22 am

Don't you just hate it?
I've been savng this old The Finals suit for, gee, more than 15 years, I think.

I loved the small sides, print and cut.

When I tried it on this weekend, every Lycra fiber shrieked in mortal agony at the same time; its now baggy and lifeless.

That is a great looking suit too. Saddest days are when you have to throw out those worn out speedos with patterns you can no longer find.

A moment of silence for those we've lost too soon ................

The waistband in one of my oldest suits recently gave the shriek. The fabric will be next. Irreplaceable. :(

The speedo I wear in my avatarpicture is still existing, but it's no longer wearable. It has some damages at the backside and now the fabric has lost the stretch and its shape. It's really only litter. But I'll still going on to keep it as long as possible.

We should all wear black armbands and Speedos and have a minutes silence in respect to the dead swimwear and all the others that sacrificed there lives so we can enjoy them.
