There are like solar, solar fitness and solar solid.
What’s the difference?

If you follow the links to 'features&benefits' you can see the details of the materials and construction.

To me, "Solar" implies the traditional and unique at the time narrower sides and front seam.

Smooth front "Solar"s are really Solars.

The Speedo Solar series looks great on and is probably some of my best glove fitting suits. I’m not sure that much differentiates one Solar from the other. They are not too skimpy for everyday wearing. Regardless of advertised side length advertised they are about 2 inches.

Taking a look, I'd say the "Finess Solars" are the traditional solid colors: navy, black , royal, white, red, while listed "Solid Solars" are pastels. Go figure! It doesn't appear that the printed ones have a front seam that would be weird with a print.
