Aussiebum Storm Wonderjock

Post by speedoluv » Wed Mar 19, 2014 6:42 am

Hi guys, I just wanted to get your advice.

I am thinking of getting the Aussiebum Storm Wonderjock in white colour which they call RobotNik for some strange reason.

The sheer level is not indicated on the website. Do you know whether it gets very sheer when it is wet, since it is white in colour? If so, then it will be difficult to wear in the pool. Thanks.

Cheers!

Hey there- I actually own this exact suit. Love the fit. The front is double-layer so it doesn't become sheer, but the rear is only single-layer so it can get somewhat sheer. It's not like nylon, where it's see-thru but it is sheer enough that you can see your butt-crack :)

I wore this suit in public only while at a gay resort in Key West. I am bringing it with me to Miami, though. Maybe it's acceptable in SoBe? Not sure..

I have attached some pics of me- they were test shots.. And I'm not a model. So please bear with me. I hope they help explain the wet/dry differences. I will also post a second post of the front.

newspeedo this is another one that fits you very well. Wet or dry there is a vpl, so saving it for a gay resort instead of a public beach or pool may be a good idea.

hey newspeedo, thanks very much for posting the pics of you in the trunks - both wet and dry :) you look great in them so i am glad that you modelled the trunks for me :) many thanks!

i think the rear of the trunks is still not too sheer when wet so maybe i can consider getting them.

i have a pair of Aussiebum Classic Wonderjock and I feel that the crotch area feels tighter than that of a non-Wonderjock pair of Aussiebum Classic of the same size. I wonder if you feel the same way about this pair of trunks? Cheers.

I'm not really seeing a big difference between the wet and dry front pics. Still, I really like the way they look in the front. I may have to pick up a pair for myself.

Thanks for the positive responses, all!

Speedluv- I actually don't own a pair of classics, so I can't really help you with the type of fit. Those are the Nylon briefs, right? I think the difference is that this suit (The Storm) has a seam down the center and that makes a bit more room up front, while the Nylon suits I think have a flat front, which always presses you down.

I'm pretty thin in general so I find that Aussiebums don't fit that well- they're made for bigger, muscular guys. Ah well... That's why I don't have that many pairs.

Good luck with your shopping.

Count your blessings, my friend. Thinner body type is why you look so good in that insanely awesome looking little blue Aqux! But the white AB looks great on you too. But don't leave the Aqux at home, that's the swimsuit you need to wear in Miami!

I agree. You have the perfect body type for wearing speedos.
