As we all know. the beloved speedo thong is not being made any more, but I haven't seen. anyone post about some of the copycats that are being made now. Recently picked up a couple of the DESMIIT ones off of amazon. Shipping was only 10 days, which isn't bad from Asia to east coast in my opinion and they fit surprising well. Also a nice feature is they have a drawcord in them to make them a little more secure. I'm a M-L and picked up the L and XL. Both fit, but XL is a little more comfortable.

I agree with you about the Desmiit thong, very comfortable and seems well made. It has good coverage at the front and as you say the drawcord is good for diving or playing in the surf. I bought mine on ebay from a UK supplier.

They are great for lap swimming too, I’ve been wearing them for laps exclusively for at least 3 years now.
Older photo but I have this color, black and Navy Blue and rotate thru them so they last longer. Even got a few “comic” prints off Ali Express Found an outdoor lap pool last summer and wore them there too with no issues at all… Got great tan line..LoL
