Hello everyone,
I’m going to be in Sydney next month for vacation. Any locals have recommendations on the best spots to rock a speedo while I’m in town?
Thanks!

Can wear them at any beach with no problem. If you were looking to wear something more revealing then perhaps Little Congwong beach.

Thanks for the info! I was thinking north Bondi. Also have seen some good things about Obelisk.

You can wear speedos anywhere without any problems. You will have problems if you wear less than that though, including at North Bondi, it's a family beach area.
For less, check out Obleisk, or across from there is also Cobblers - same car park but on the other side of the head. However if you're at Bondi, then just head up to Lady Bay (Lady Jane) Beach which will be much much closer and easier to get to.

Re: Speedos in Sydney
Sydney is one of the most speedo-friendly cities in the world... Australia in general. In the 80s and 90s you could get on the bus in your speedos and sit down and no one batted an eye. North Bondi is good if you are into checking out the lads. South Manly early for the swim to Shelley Beach if you want to literally see dozens of guys in speedos. Obelisk is good if the weather is nice, but more of a nude beach. Send pics!

Totally, the Bold & Beautiful swim swim is the best. Departs the Manly surf club at 7am every morning. 1km ocean swim each way. Budgy Smuggler is also in Manly and have a shop front there of pure Budgy Smugglers!speedostud wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2024 3:18 pmSydney is one of the most speedo-friendly cities in the world...
