I'd have to say Gran Canaria is the new record holder for me. Both at the resort and around the island there were loads of men in Speedos, even the occasional thong. So Superman is getting his trunks back, and while I for one, welcome the return, wish they'd gone for a sexier, briefer style. Imagine an Arena or Speedo style, high cut, minimal sides. You know we all would.

It also depends on how deep you’re going to go and the environment around you. I’ve been down to 30m exploring wrecks in the Red Sea and wouldn’t dream of wearing anything less than at least a shortie wetsuit, but if you’re only a few meters down fish spotting, why not.
