Nice! When I’ve gone to Sicily, sometimes I’ll walk back to the hotel in just a speedo and shirt too. It’s not uncommon to see other guys do the same.

Sounds like you’re having a great trip. How long are you there, and where have you stayed?

When you’re at a beach in Italy, people have a more laid back attitude about their bodies. A speedo is just another swimsuit over there. Also there isn’t the body shaming, which goes on in the US.

Depending on what you’re wearing it for, I have a few favorites. For lap swimmming/masters team workouts I’ve started to really like the Sporti brand. They are inexpensive and good quality.
