Thanks for sharing. Nice read. We all need to exert our Speedo confidence. Im always doing my part on Florida gulf coast beaches, boat, pools.

I look how they look and feel and would even use them as sleepwear, but I don't like how they easily lose their shape after a few washes.

I own other pair of short shorts and not just for running.

Mexico used to be very speedo friendly in the past and you would see it often in their media, but not so much lately since the board shorts thing from the U.S. got popular in the early 2000s.

Yeah, he's going too far. As much as I love wearing speedos (especially ones with 1" sides), I would only wear then at the beach or pool and not the streets like that. I think that was the issue in this article, not that he was actually wearing them.

I wouldn't unless I knew they would damage the pool in any significant way. I would want my guests to wear anything they like as long as it's not obscene, unless it's an adults-only event.

None of my friends have seen me in one and they would be shocked if they did. The closest thing to it was when I showed an Ukrainian co-worker a speedo photo of me in Miami. She liked it.
