Hi from the Netherlands

I’m a 35 year old guy. Growing up in the 90’s, it was normal wearing speedos at the pool and the beach. So I wore those at the times. As a chubby teen I mostly wore squarecut briefs, underneath swim shorts. But how I hated those flimsy sticky ugly things.
In my twenties I decided to not wear board shorts anymore, but still being chubby, I still wore squarecuts, as I felt more confident in those than in briefs.
Now as I’m slowly losing weight I started wearing Sunga style briefs, which cover just a bit more than the normal briefs, hoping I’ll be confident enough soon to rock the speedos at the pool.
Are there more guys out there who wear squarecut briefs/boxer briefs for swimming? And what do you think about that style?

I’m
Not skinny and I wear skimpy or regular 1” swimsuit… small sides because I like them that way. I don’t care what people think it how I look. Because I feel really good with smaller speedos! I really do and I love it!

Hi Ifor.
1. Welcome to the group
2. You look good in your profile pic. Definitely "Speedo ready".
3. I like square cuts. They can make men look really sexy. I do think they suit mean who are of a heavier build. I don't think a man can be too lean for Speedo's but he can be too lean for square cut briefs, so I suspect you are rocking the right look for your body at this time.
