tanning tips?

I want to get a nice tan this summer. Do you have any tips or suggestions for me? I'll probably avoid a tanning booth unless I really must use one. Thanks!

A 'nice tan' is so over-rated these days. That being said, use sunscreen ... lots of it. I love Coppertone sport. Banana Boat Aloe afterward. Don't do too much at sun at once. Not a fan of tanning booths.

As someone who burns every time and doesn't tan much, that's nice to hear. Lol.

If you're walking about somewhere between the Tropics (Cancer & Capricorn) Slip-Slop-Slap is the way to go: Slip on a shirt, Slop on the 30+ sunscreen, Slap on a hat, Seek shade or shelter, Slide on some sun glasses.
If you're at the beach or pool you will get enough reflected sunlight, off the water and sand, to get a nice tan. Lounging under a beach umbrella in just your swimming togs will keep you cooler, and yes you will tan.
