I was on Vimeo and came across a cool short film I think you guys would like. It's about a man who goes to his apartment complex pool. When he arrives he takes his shorts off to reveal a speedo solar suit... most of the pool goers are turned off by his choice of bathing suit so they all leave. Bandar the main character goes back to his room and falls asleep when he wakes up he looks in the mirror... Trying on a pair of boardshorts in frustration he frantically pulls them off.

Waking back to the pool he contemplates what people will think if he continues to wear his speedo. Bandar is in for a big surprise when he finds one guy who is cooking on the grill and wearing an apron... looks back at him with a smile of solidarity. The man removes his apron and is wearing the same speedo solar. The man canon balls into the pool.

Bandar is super exited and relived he joins the guy in the pool wearing his speedo solar as well and the rest of the pool goers don't pay them any attention.

I thought it represents what some of us go through when deciding if we should wear our speedos or less in different environments.

P.S I think Bandar is super cute and sexy in his orange speedo solar... I'd prefer a man with heart over a man with abs any day.

No problem guys... In the description of the video the director said he created the film to address the harassment and bullying guys get for wearing speedos. He linked to an article which talks about guys who come from over seas to the states to train as lifeguards... one of those guys wore his speedo like he would in his own country... a group of teenagers started shouting at him and harassing him. According to the article the staff rushed emergency trunks over to him.

I agree bullying should not be tolerated... people need to accept people and cultural differences.
