Hi everybody,

I was able to book a trip to Varadero, Cuba and I will be staying at the Iberostar Laguna Azul. I will be leaving in the middle of the first week in February.

Is this resort gay friendly and how is Cuba for guys in speedos? I heard that Europeans go to Cuba and many of them wear speedos.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Yes the wearing of speedos is quiet normal in Cuba [even thongs on the beach] & in tourist area most hotels are gay friendly Never found any gay life in Cuba but I bet there is some in Havanna underground Remember Cuba has been a controlled state for years & is about to open up a bit with the Americans Last time I was there paid a few pesos for a beach boy to spend some time with me on the beach but nothing could happen & he was not even allowed in the hotel If you want some open Gay Life go to Puerto Vallarta MX where there are gay hotels [& gay friendly ones ] lots of bars & dance clubs Gay beaches with tourists from everywhere For a few beers & agreed upon pesos you can have whatever you want Just make sure he is over 18 & use safe sex A fun hotel is the Cora [men only] reasonable & clean & can wear your speedo or nothing from 3pm to midnight with your drinks in a pool or hot tub or back room Also in PVR there 2 companies running Gay day cruises [ Wet & Wild or Diana's ] for a real fun day Just Google Gay PVR or look on YouTube I am going down from Feb 5 to 20 for some fun & sun & speedoo wearing for a good tan line

PS speedoboi From your pic in the white suit you have a great body & show a a big bulge to attract some attention Would also warn you to be careful of the food which I found horrible most of the time The second time I went to Cuba took a few packaged groceries The beaches are really wonderful Have fun

Where did you find that pic? I posted it a while back.
But check out the article I wrote in the speedo topic section entitled "Destruction of my speedo confidence." It's been a major strugle for me due to stress factors.

Speedoboi Yes you posted The white speedo in your profile & I read about your struggles which you seem to be over now This is why I gave you info about the food When you arrive be sure to tell the staff about any diet problems you now face & the staff generally love Canadian who have travelled there for years & try to please Also you will be a hit If you take along a couple of Blue Jay or baseball caps as a kindness Or even a Tshirt The best investmet you could do They love baseball Enjoy But think about next year in Puerto Vallarta which has lots of deals from Toronto

Swimbriefitish I go in Feb to PVR because it is winter here & like to get in a speedo & get some sun & beach time The weather is fantastic & the beaches are crowded with like minded men from all over the world Also go in Nov to extend the summer before winter Just got back & had a wonderful time at the nude GOGO clubs the bars & the people & wore a speedo nearly all day & now prepared for our spring in Interior BC Yes PVR is a great place for fun sun & exercise Try it sometime
