For some reason I have to offer my opinion although it is clearly opposite that of others.
I want to make it perfectly clear that I am speaking only for myself, and not anyone associated with or administering to this forum.
Over the years I have found that this board has always been comprised of a very diverse group of people who come from different countries, with different backgrounds, interests, sexual orientations, socio economic conditions and so forth. All have been welcome as have their posts. No one ever had to fear being criticized or censored by self appointed forum police because their interests were not in lockstep with the critic’s. As an example, I have no interest in learning how to clench my butt to enhance it, but obviously others do, so let the conversation continue. I’ve always been of the belief that I’m not being forced to read any of the forum threads, so if I dislike one, or have no interest in it, I simply move on. I would never consider criticizing anyone for their posts, interests or beliefs. There will be those who will be interested, and those who won’t. The common thread should be an interest in swimwear, particularly speedos. That does and can diverge into subjects such as, thongs, jock straps, butt bridges, girls swimmer sex photos, tan lines, smooth or hairy, sports, and recreational activities, and yes even the dreaded sexual activities, that may involve speedos. I am far from perfect, for sure, and I’m not an authority on anything, and I don’t profess to be one. I have no intention of imposing my will on others and expecting them to march in lockstep with my beliefs or interests. A little humor and lightheartedness doesn’t hurt either. Anyone can leave the forum if it isn’t to their liking, and move on to another, or start their own. Variety is the spice of life. Without it boredom may soon follow.
As Swimmy said, “Have fun! I hope that all the members here that never say boo will feel welcome to jump in and participate more, whichever topic or activity they are most interested in” and I will add, without fear of the forum police. Have fun. Keep it light and tight. Enjoy. Life is too short to do otherwise.

Well said. I have been on forums so heavily moderated that posts and threads are frequently deleted. Off topic posts are deleted, anything offensive is deleted, “innapropriate” posts are deleted. It’s really annoying to spend time writing a thoughtful post only to have it promptly deleted.

While there is much here I don’t personally like I just ignore it the same way one does when interacting with others in person.

I wouldn’t expect people to only post what I want to see.

I tend to agree with both viewpoints. I think the biggest problem was that multiple threads/topics kept getting taken over by certain members recently. I don’t think it was about the scenarios being discussed as much as it was being injected into multiple other conversations. As BJE said, I skip thread topics that I have no interest in. Having various thread topics allows you to do that. When certain conversations begin showing up in threads who’s topics weren’t created for such, you have to continually scroll through to find contributions that are back on topic. I am not opposed to sexual thread topics or flirting threads because I have the option to skip over them. The main point is to keep thread topics on track; don’t hijack them from others or the original poster.

I really enjoy interacting with everyone on the forum, posting pics, having a laugh. The forum is not perfect because we speedo clad humans are involved, who by design are not perfect. I agree that some of the posts were not to everyone's liking. I am not interested in thongs so I do not look at that topic. Let's try and get the forum back to how it's was.

I would agree with the above. I also agree with Scott about this forum, it is the only forum I have stayed with (on any subject) because everyone is supportive and it is not overly controlled.

Thanks Mitch! I’m the same. I don’t care what is posted and discussed as long as it’s on the topic of the thread. I’m not interested in everything but others are. Who am I to say not to talk about one subject or another?!? I just skip those threads altogether.

I started this thread with the hope of starting an intelligent, adult, non vindictive conversation concerning forum etiquette. It has accomplished that goal. Every single post is well thought out, worth reading, and makes perfect sense, at least to me. I've learned quite a bit from reading them, and thank all who have responded.

Oh, and if I ever screw up again, don't feel the need to dance around it with the "certain members do this or that" Just PM me. I'm adult enough to take honest criticism, especially when it is well earned and deserved. I don't bite. And while I can't speak for Jace, I do believe the same applies to him.
