G'day guys,

So I have to be in Europe for a couple of weeks in early September.

Family wedding in the UK, then I have to go to another family function 12 days later.

Until every single one of you guys joins my site SpeedoFetish.com, I won't be taking the jet and was looking for somewhere cheap and speedo friendly.

I haven't been to mainland Europe before but I've heard good things about Spain and Portugal.

Any suggestions? Anyone have a villa on the beach I could borrow?

Wore my suit on Alicante, Spain beach last weekend. Unfortunately was the only speedo guy there but didn’t feel apprehensive in doing so. Good luck with the trip, non the less.

I’m flying into Barcelona this Thursday so I’ll let you know!

The beaches in the south of Portugal, The Algarve are great. Unfortunately, my family's place is being fixed or else I would see about you staying there at a discount.

I"m heading to Portugal, including the Algarve, Spain and the south of France.... I'm only packing my speedo!
From my other trips and experiences, I don't think I"ll be the only one wearing a speedo.

That is where a friend of mine suggested I go, I've got some research to do but I'll keep you posted if I'm there. Probably around Sept 3rd for at least a week is my rough plan.

Recently spent a few days in Torremolinos (10mins on the train from Malaga Airport), in Andalucia, Spain. Can recommend Hotel Ritual as somewhere to stay. Speeods all you need (or less!). Lots of guys wearing speedos around the pool (no surprise) and on the beach.

Barcelona is a good shout, too. You can combine a little sightseeing (e.g Sagrada Família) with time on the beach. Sitges not far either.

damm speedio, i looked up hotel ritual on trip advisor. tons of hot hot pics! i really need to get there now!

Reporting to you live from the Nova Icaria beach in Barcelona: definitely speedo-friendly! Not a majority, but they are everywhere on guys of all ages. Lots of topless ladies too.

Also, fun fact: today’s my first time wearing a speedo to the beach! Word board shorts over them on the bus then stripped once I settled in

I’m currently driving around Germany and Austria. Have visited a public pool and a thermal spa facility.

Disappointed to say there were very few speedos being worn by locals.
I saw maybe 7 guys at both places, all of whom were at least over 50 years old. All the young guys were in shorts.
This made me the youngest speedo wearer there by many years, I’ve been in my Adidas three stripe (black) and a red speedo solar.

I live in Germany and yes. Its true that not many young people are wearing speedos because its not that accepted here (we tend to have an more american approach on the topic) and you'd get teased if you're wearing something tight. But many others (and me sometimes) wear a speedo under the long trunks cuz its just waaaay more comfortable. And If I'm somewhere where I'm 80% sure I dont meet anyone that I know (because I dont want to get teased/bullied) I'll just wear my speedo (btw I have the same black adidas) and I dont care what random people thinkabout me because I dont see them daily...

You should wear them proudly GermanSpeedoGuy! I certainly did in the pools I visited.

I will say that in Germany the department stores sell a much bigger range of swim briefs than they do in the UK. Which is great to browse. A lot more briefs in the underwear section too. Which I love browsing through as well.

And I also really like looking around in the swimsuit area in various shops! Its just really intereating sometimes.

Maybe we should have a "Speedo Tourism" discussion board.
