Browsing Speedos

I can spend a considerable amount of time browsing speedos online. My fascination with speedos is admittedly somewhat sexual. Not sexual as in I enjoy looking at other men wearing speedos, but how they would look and feel on me. Imagining how that particular speedo might feel on my body or sexy it will look on me (to me). Unfortunately many of the speedos that I have purchased do not fit me like I had pictured in my mind. It's easy to get that vision in your head that you too can look like that model wearing the speedo. A coupe of years ago, I did have a body like that, but I don't have that six-pack like I used to. I'm still in pretty decent shape and I think I can still pull it off pretty well. I've already purchased several speedos this year and I think 1 out of 4, I would wear in public. I love when I go somewhere on vacation and there's a local store that has a rack of hanging speedos. I can't help but look through them and glide my hand over the fabric. I love them.
What do you like about browsing/wearing speedos?

I search to find the ultimate fitting Speedo. Often times I’m disappointed in what I buy. If it doesn’t fit well I’m not going to wear it. I’ve returned a lot of them and given away a lot of them with still quite a few that I don’t wear because I don’t like them.
For me the perfect Speedo has a comfortable pouch that is snug and form fitting not loose or baggy, has full backside coverage and sides that are two inches or less.
Here is my latest that I got yesterday. I’m wearing it at the pool tonight.

Swimoutlet.com has many of their products modeled in short video clips by young men who know how to wear them right. There aren't as many as there used to be, but still quite a few.

I'm in the same boat. It's really not about seeing the men, but imagining how the suit will look on me. I'm getting older and not in the same shape I once was, but still feel confident enough to wear them out in public. Unfortunately, Instagram's targeted ads seem to think I'm into board shorts. Haven't figured out how to correct that.

How old is that, if you don’t mind me asking? I have a feeling that I’ve become “creepy old speedo guy” and that’s why my wife is uncomfortable with me wearing them at the beach (I’m in my early 40s).
Sadly, I didn’t get into fitness until I was in my mid 30s, so I missed out on prime speedo-wearing years in terms of potential fitness and body shape. It’s much easier to stay fit in your 20s when you’re young and everything works without aches and pains, lol.

You have the potential to be speedo fit at any age. I am 54.

I think I'm in pretty good shape... I'm 67 and hope I'm not looked at as a "creepy old speedo guy"..... but I'm hooked and can't stop wearing them... although I confess, there are some circumstances where i will wear "trunks"... but still mid thigh.

I am 41 years old, but am often told I look closer to 31 (today in fact, by a store cashier who was checking my ID for buying alcohol).
I generally have had an easy time getting in shape, but my knees lately are telling me they've had enough, no more running. I've thought about going back to a gym to swim again, but my experience with public swimming was not as hygienic as I'd like.

I have been a pretty serious cyclist since my early 30s. You should try it. It’s fantastic exercise, and you can remain somewhat competitive well into your 50s if that’s your thing. And it’s very easy on your joints.

I have the same feeling at time and I am slightly older then you. It's mostly internalized. Until my wife tells me to stop, I think I am ok... I think I have been able to strike a balance at the private pool we are members.
I swim/workout in briefs but nights when we are hanging out, I am in shorts. We have a loose food and alcohol policy there so Fridays are more of a social event for adults while the kids swim. It's a huge family pool and they have a great swim & dive team - big swim culture. I do maters there during the summer and swim during adult swim hrs and would say it's at least a 50/50 split among adult male wearing briefs with square cut probably second. Jammers are the lowest because I think the adult men are not really into them. You see jammers on the little kids mostly.

I will be turning 48 this year. I've been wearing speedos publicly since I was 30. I'd have to say that I looked my absolute best when I was 44. My body was as ripped as it ever had been. I've lost that six-pack since then, but I'm still in decent shape. I have 5lbs that need to go and I'm not sure why I'm 5lbs heavier than I've ever been. I'm always moving and not eating like a horse. I've always struggled to put on weight. Weird...must be that age thing creeping up on me. Damn you Father Time...Damn you!!
