I know it has been said many times but how is it different to a female in a tiny bikini on a beach?
A fat ugly man is going to be fat and ugly whether he is wearing a speedo or a huge pair of shorts (with the gut hanging over the waist?).
Why are Americans ok with wrestlers in tight lycra displaying their goods but not speedo wearers?

I wouldn't worry.
She takes pics of people getting changed in the carpark, understands imperial but not metric and probably swims at the beach fully clothed... which she wont do for long in Australia!

Funny how the answer to the question “why is it okay for women to wear tiny bikinis, but not okay for men to wear speedos?” Is never answered, or diverted. Because, in answer, there is no answer, because if it’s okay for one, it’s okay for the other.

Thanks for the links, Sam. Good picks, as always.
Yup, I must be an exhibitionist type in my dick bathers, rocking the old cock jocks, shining in my banana hammocks. Nothing left to the imagination. Too much? Whaddya mean? I'm an informal ambassador for the burgeoning "Greek Dad market"!

But if this was reversed and it was a guy taking picks of people getting changed in a carpark…

The comment section of this article is full of body positive messages about some morbidly obese singer in a tiny string bikini. Wonder if the same people would say the same about an overweight male celeb in a speedo. I think we know the answer.

Daily Mail - "Paedo men are EVERYWHERE" next page "D listers daughter (13) looks all grown up" (salacious shots) , seriously search for "all grown up" on their website and be prepared to be creeped the hell out.......
I don't care what anyone wears or doesn';t, i couldn't give a hoot if people walked down the street nude frankly....

Thanks for these links!
I rather liked this comment in the second link:
"Did you come here to educate us on what is acceptable swimwear. Speedo is an Australian icon. The company started on Bondi beach in 1928, and they invented the brief style in 1961. The cossie is worn by many as a matter of national pride."
To which I must add, "Long live Australia!"
Meanwhile, this comment by an Aussie living in the U.S. is generally accurate:
"I'm an Australian living in America, and I find this topic very interesting because it is emblematic of a bigger issue. I have to say: I find American men very shy with their bodies and rather prudish. I remember thinking that the "privacy shields" at the urinals were hilarious. (Actually, I find Americans kind of prudish, full stop)"
Here in the U.S., I have a number of gay friends in a wide range of ages. They wouldn't go near a speedo. They wear board shorts past their knees.

Sometimes, in Australia, we have screen between individual urinals. But more often then not, in unis and shopping centre, it's a row of individual urinals, with no screens between, and you just skip a few and take your place. (Leave a urinal or two between you and the other man if there's room).
Trough-style urinals are also still in use. Usually you line up at one end or the other. Only stand next to people if it's absolutely crowded and you're absolutely busting. Even then, it's kind of embarrassing! Took me years to teach myself to use urinals. I avoided them in school and always used a stall.
No eye contact, of course, while doing the deed. And as fascinating as it is to look at other people's dicks and/or piss streams, it's best to be discreet.

It must be a culture shock for Trans men (Those going from F to M) using the mens room for the first time and (unless they've been living as male since childhood) not having the awareness of the above - don't talk, don't make eye contact, don't right beside someone (heck I don't even with the dividers) etc, then again the same prob applies to those tranisitioning from M to F, whole different bathroom culture to get your head around...

Do females make eye contact and talk while in the loo as a rule? I can't imagine space and privacy issues are that different for the two genders, other than straight men are put in a situation where they're exposed to the genitalia of the same sex, despite having no great erotic love for the same sex. I guess women (and men) talk to each other while in stalls. Nothing is more hilarious than listening in to someone's mobile phone conversation while they're in a stall!

my wife tells me that its a constant bug bear of hers using a stall and the women using the stalls either side are conversing via yelling back and forth and ALWAYS about mindless, brainless shit, usually "who screwed who" "who battered who for looking at/sleeping with 'their man'/'their pals man' etc" "what are you having for dinner tonight" "what did you watch on telly last night" "did you see what <celebutard> did on <brain dead "reality" tv>", "did you hear <random friend> has <VD> / <other nasty disease <speculation about promiscuity etc> " and worse....and for minutes on end, she says no wonder there are always queues for the women's bathrooms, the constant gossipping ties up stalls for way longer than if people just did their business, washed their hands and got out
