Was anyone able to get their hands on this suit yet?

I have been WAITING for them to re-release it....and I apparently missed my opportunity because I cannot find it anywhere.

That suit became the rage, and my swim team's most commonly seen practice suit for quite some time after the 1972 Olympics. I had it in size 30, wore it often for years and not just for swim practice.
I would order it instantly in size 32 if it became available from Speedo or another quality manufacturer in a competition cut style.
Sure wish the photo included a bit more of its model, I love to see the pecs on a hot bod in a speedo.

Wow, a classic. I was in grad school when Mark Spitz wore it in 72

ugh, they updated their stock on all suits, except this one.

Thought when I read the title (stars and bars) that speedo had done a confederate battle flag suit.... how well that would sell would be interesting.......

The Mark Spitz version of this suit. 1972. In its day, this looked amazingly brief.

I have this “Stars & Bars” suit from Q-swimwear in the ‘waterpolo cut’ style (skimpier cut- 2.50 inch sides) and LOVE IT!

At the pool or beach, I get stopped all the time asking where I purchased the suit- definitely Rock Star status wearing it! Hint: size up - if you wear a size 30” the purchase a size 32”. Plus, they are having a 50% off sale - so it only costs $20. The suits are very comfortable and extremely well made to last for ever. Plus, give great tan-lines too!! I’ve worn my for 2-3 years daily at swim practice and it still looks new!

Thanks for the notice that this is finally available again! I ordered one from swimoutlet, my usual swim gear supplier. The price was right. I don't know how durable it will be, we'll find out.

Good luck - make sure you get the water polo style cut. The other is more conservative style

I have seen such a suit and tbh it looks good because the flag adapts well. I wouldn’t be comfortable wearing it but that is a personal view

This is a great suit! It's a new material I've never heard of called Creora. Chlorine resistant, it says. Very elastic. I love it. Now if we just had a pool to wear it in.
