First time seeing a fellow speedo wearer at my pool

I wear exclusively speedos and squarecuts to my neighborhood pool. Speedos when lap swimming and squarecuts when I'm with the kids or just hanging out. It's always been fine, no issues from anyone, but in 5 years I've also never seen another man in anything smaller than board shorts until last week. I was there during the day to get my laps in and I saw a man, probably 50ish, with his two boys, wearing a speedo. Just seemed like it was his regular swimwear. I hope it's not the last time!
