Kicking off Speedo Season 2026 - health and fitness goals - are you with me?

Post by Speedoguy1971 » Tue Nov 25, 2025 5:07 am

Hey gentlemen,

With the holidays rolling in, it’s officially my time to start fine-tuning the body for Speedo Season 2026. Starting early keeps me honest when the food and festive beverages start calling my name.

Right now I’m tightening up the diet, cutting back on caloric drinks, tracking macros, hitting cardio 4–5 times a week, and strength training 4 days a week. I’m also working on getting better sleep—still a challenge at 54, 5'11", and 174 lbs.

Goal: Drop about 5% body fat by March 15 and feel confident when it’s time to break out the Speedos again.
So—any other Speedo enthusiasts kicking off their 2026 prep?

What are your goals? Cutting? Bulking? Training for a specific look? Shopping for new styles?
Post your targets, progress, and even your favorite motivation tricks.

Let’s keep each other accountable, inspired, and maybe even entertained along the way. Speedo season waits for no one—let’s make it fun! 💪🌞

Report back here with your progress.

Looking forward to hearing from you all!

Best, A Lifelong Speedo Enthusiast

I don't have very specific goals but renewed my membership at the indoor pool when they opened for fall again in September and been trying to make it as many days a week as I can with some decent success particularly after the bulk of my busy season at work slowed down but then the germs caught up with me so i haven't made the the past week having a cold- i think the worst part has been derailing my progress in the pool! :(

But hopefully I can get a workout in before the 5 hour drive to see family for Thanksgiving, and then still get in workouts my 2 days back home before heading to Palm Springs for a vacation that will hopefully be filled with lots of speedo time by a pool and in a hot tub with a drink in hand. I'll be sure to take some pics to post for the group ;) Then it's back to the winter grind!

Keep it up! Have fun with family and in Palm Springs. Please post your Speedo pics. I wish I had the courage to post my Speedo pics.

Glad to read people here in the northern hemisphere making exercise plans this early heading into the cold season. I struggle with depression, and it makes a big impact. Don't ignore your mental health.

Would you have the courage to post your speedo pics if you still looked as good as you did ten years ago, and do you not think the person you'll be in ten years will think the same about you now?

I also struggle with mental health in the fall/ winter but for me staying active, having a routine, and being able to still have opportunities to wear my speedos helps me combat against the depression by helping give me something to look forward to and want to get out of bed in the morning for! It's not perfect, it doesn't always work and I do my best to give myself grace when I don't make it or feel like I'm not progressing but anything's better than nothing!
