I'd just finished a session at my local pool when a swimming club were coming in to start their session. All of the guys bar one were wearing the Speedo Classic style brief. The only exception was one who wore longer swimming trunks - but not shorts, noticeably.

Honestly, it was like I'd entered a parallel universe where the normal laws of physics no longer applied...

Sounds like my local pool. The only thing dork shorts might be useful for is to increase water drag and get a better workout from swimming. But not really.

I agree; I go early bird swimming at my local sports arena,and although I cycle there,in Lycra bib shorts,when I get changed in the communal change area,you can sense (and see) looks of disapproval when I wear Speedos,whether black,or light blue.
Maybe next time,I`ll buy a TYR suit, in shiny black and give `em something to talk about.....
