PacificJock.com shopping experience

Hey guys, I'm wondering if any of you have ever bought stuff from PacificJock.com.

I placed an order there in late July for several items, and I still haven't received it. In email exchanges they said that it was a long weekend in Canada the weekend I placed my order, but even so I'm feeling something is up.

They said that my shipping had been upgraded to Fedex for free so should arrive about a week sooner than the 14-21 business days stated in their FAQ. But it's now about 23 business days since I placed the order (not including the long weekend).

I emailed them again but got a response that their customer service office is closed until September 8 or something due to summer, which I feel is an evasive reply - didn't seem to be auto-reply either because it arrived several hours later. I also phoned Fedex in NZ and asked if there were any shipments under my name - I wasn't given a tracking number - and they said there was nothing.

I'm starting to feel conned and find the service rather slow - I've received orders faster from other online stores, so I'm wondering if anyone else here has ever shopped online at PacificJock.com, and how they found it.

Speedonz - I wanted to reply so you didnt think you were being ignored, but unfortunately I have never had any experience with that company. I sure hope you get your stuff soon, I know how frustrating it can be.... once you order some hot new undies or smimwear you want it like NOW!!!!

Righto, well I've now heard back so I think I should provide an update.

Apparently the arrived in NZ, but was redirected back to PacificJock (in Canada) with a sticker saying "Returned for compliance with Aviation Security Regulations". I've no idea what that means and apparently they didn't either... I've never heard about aviation security regulations in New Zealand and don't really see why it applies to a shipment like this. I'd think if a package was ticking maybe...

PacificJock have resent the order by Fedex again, and this time sent me the tracking number which shows it is in transit at Honolulu! I only received this communication with them a few days after opening a dispute with PayPal, so who knows whether the timing is coincidence or whether it was being faced with a dispute on PayPal that got them talking.

Me though, I'll be happy when my order finally arrives, and I think it'd be reasonable to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Cheers for the response guys :)

Speedonz - thanks for the update and yes, if they re-sent them immediately via FedEx, I would say that they deserve the benefit of the doubt ... especially if you do now receive your order!
