Ok guys I want to see how this goes. I am in the market I think right now to get one or two new speedos. Money is kind of tight for now so that is why only one or two.

I would like to get you guys to give me ideas on the colors you think I should get and what brands! I think it could be more fun this way!!

So lets see what you all come up with.

Oh the red is for sure, I have red underwear so of course in a speedo. I had a red and black but it went bad (as in bad it was torn off), you know I like it rough!

During the day I was commando. I had some people staring at me in the restaurants. I couldn't figure out why. Well my legs were kind of spread and we were at a high top table, so they could see right up the shorts!

At the pool, which I ended up alone at (as in my friend didn't come out), I wore my blue aussiebum and a black speedo(brand) that I borrowed. I have the start of a tan but it still needs some work.

BigJay, you need to fill us in on what you have now, what you have had in the past and what you like, liked, and have an interest in. Then we will be better prepared to make recommendations. lol..

I'd suggest the 1965 100% nylon tricot Speedoâ„¢ red/black narrow stripe... the 1975 Turboâ„¢ lycra black/red and yellow streak print... the 1982 Arenaâ„¢ brown/white print. The years are significant; you won't find such fine suits today if you believe form, fit, and function are important.

I am searching for a new speedo myself so have been checking out lots of websites.

No one comes close to the color selection that aussiebum provides. I think the tangerine ones could be really hot. I don't think the green looks very good on the model on the aussiebum website. To me they make a guy with a great body seem unsexy. The platinum looks bland by itself but way better than expected on the model. And it has the added bonus of being a little sheer when wet. Even with the shipping aussiebums can be cheaper than buying directly from Speedo.

If you really are interested in green, Tyr offers two shades of green. The lighter shade is a bit different from what other brands offer. Unfortunately the Tyr website doesn't have any pictures of them on any models.

I'd be interested in an Adidas speedo, as they seem classic, but they aren't very easy to find in the States. I've only been able to find them on a website based in Singapore. Even a search from the word swim on the adidas website only brought up women's swimwear.

I bet if you ordered something from the Australian company Budgy Smuggler you'd be the only one at the pool or beach with a pair. They offer some interesting colors but I think the company's logo, which is on the back, isn't visually interesting.

I have no idea what YPFW means but I'm guessing, based on the intensity of Mattieboy's affection for me, it probably means something along the line of GTHAFY. Although I could be wrong on that. Mattieboy will have to tell us the meaning of YPFW.
