Help: Need to know where to find good speedos online

I need help. I love speedos and had tons before I lost them in my last relationship. Was curious if anyone knew where I could find good speedos online without hurting my bank/credit card too much?

You kind of have to shop around to see who is giving the best prices. swimoutlet.com is pretty good. metroswim.com is good on sale prices. Find a brand/style you like and do a web search. Be very specific about the name, the style, and even the manufacturer's product number.

Swimoutlet are great, but they will not ship to U.K. shame as we have the money .

I don't get why U.S. companies don't ship to other countries. Other countries ship to us. No wonder our economy sucks air. You could ship speedos in international priority mail envelopes. It's easy.

Hi silverinhfx

If by "Speedos" you mean 100% nylon (and that's what Speedos originally were), then, (with great degree of self interest), I wish to gently nudge you towards the Caussie website at http://www.caussie.com.au. Caussies are priced at AUD$32.00 including postage, and they are all about recreating the original brief style of swimwear, that was all nylon. They are made in Australia, and sold online from there.

If that is the style of swimwear you are thinking about, then, well worth a look! If that is not the style of swimwear you are thinking about, then, time to expand the thinking!

It may just suit you......

All the best,
Caussie

Hey Caussie --

Great suits. Nylon is the only way to go -- comfort, fit, fast drying and tough (hate to baby the lycra and spandex blends) I like the feel of things being natural and not squashed.
Super move having the 2". Love them! You have captured the feeling and fit and quality of speedos of old.

Caussie - Just curious on your packaging looks like when shipping to USA? Also on sizing. I wear a 30 in Lycia but the material has some give to it. Would a 32 be safer to order? I think that is your medium.

Thanks for the kind feedback regarding Caussie, much appreciated.

SwimKY, regarding your questions, I'm not sure what exactly you are asking in regard to the package as sent to the USA. I have only seen it leave Australia, and hopefully it arrives there in much the same shape there as it left here. So I'll pass on that one...or, is there something else I should know?

Regarding your question about a comparison between Lycra in size 30" and the equivalent size for Caussie (100% nylon), it is very much a matter of whether you like a looser, or tighter fit. If you are not specifically after a tighter fit, then the safer option would be to start with the medium, (size 32"). Most of our size exchanges are to go up one size, not down. But remember that you can do a size exchange, if you wish, that's not a problem.

So, hope to hear from you. And, if you wish to clarify your first question, so that even I can understand it, I will attempt to answer it in a more meaningful fashion.

Thanks, everybody, for your interest in Caussie.

All the best,
Caussie

The suits arrive in the U.S. just fine. I was impressed on how quick they arrived. Having the date line working in our favor no doubt helps. I think the people at Caussie must put them in the mail the same day they get the orders. When I need a new suit I will definitely be ordering from Caussie

Thanks

I want to have delivered to my office and am concerned about privacy. Really do not want my office to know what I have ordered ... I know it sounds silly.

So is the package that the suits arrive in manner that my office would not be aware of what I have ordered?

Hi SwimKY,

Now I see what you mean, sorry, I was a bit slow before. The packaging consists of a large letter envelope in plain white, with no logo or any branding upon it. Normally, the return address on the back of the letter includes the word "Caussie", along with the street address, but the reference to "Caussie" can be omitted, please just make a note of your request for that in the "other notes" section of the Caussie order form. Both your address, and the return address on the envelope will be in handwriting, so it has no appearance of necessarily being a commercial item. However, in that I understand this will be an international order, the envelope must have a small customs declaration sticker on it, declaring the contents, and the weight and value thereof, so that could be read by others, if they were really nosy, but they'd have to make a point of reading it. I guess the contents could fairly be described as "clothing", if that would assist.

Thankyou for your question.

All the best,
Caussie

Update from Caussie: If your respective searches for "good speedos online" included that "good speedos" had to include the colour (Translation: "color") "Red", then Caussie is proud to announce that the long awaited "Red" Caussie, in both the two inch, and three inch side, has finally arrived. A big apology to all those who have had their patience tested, yes, it took a lot longer than anticipated, but, I think you might find the wait was worthwhile. It's Red, it's (nearly) Christmas, and the result is really good, what more could you want? (Readers are invited to write in with their suggestions....)

So, you are (almost) the first to know that Red is now available within the Caussie range, and the website has been changed, to now allow for your ordering of the once mythical Red Caussie. It does exist, hopefully it was worth the wait, we think you'll like it.

All the best,

Caussie http://www.caussie.com.au

P.S. Anticipated that pickies of the red Caussie will be posted to the website very soon, say by first week of December.
