Hey guys,

I'm in the market to buy my first set of speedos and need a little help.

I'm looking at a basic pair of black Speedos that are at a local sporting goods store for $26 but I would like an idea of how these fit. I'm 6 feet tall and weigh 200 lbs. My waist measurement using a tape measure is 38". Are Speedo sizes comparable to the tape measure or do they have a little wiggle room in the size?
I really don't want to figure this out by trial and error if I can help it.

So if anyone can give me any advice I would appreciate it. Also, if anyone can post pics of some black speedos so I can see how they fit, that would be great.

Being only slightly more slender then yourself, and having been larger then you also, from what I've seen they run close-ish to the tape, if not a bit tighter than.
Which precludes not much wiggle room if you get it wrong as you're not likely to be comfortable ina suit too small.
