I have been searching for months for companies that make matching Father & Son swim briefs. My son is a toddler and will only wear lycra type suits - he hates board shorts. Up until now he only wore squarecuts but we purchased him his first pair of briefs in Italy. He is extremely excited to wear them.

My little guy loves to match me (clothes and swimsuits) so we mostly wear squarecuts together that sort of match. My wife thinks it would be super cute if we had exactly the same suit and I know my son would totally be into it. We would even consider a whole family (wife and daughter included) to match if it would work. Aside from Speedo and Arena or any other athletic type brands, I am looking for something in a suit brand that is a bit more fun and matches. So far I can only find two brands that make men & toddler (size 5-6) matching suits. They are Funky Trunks & Budgy Smuggler. Funky Trunks selection is pretty limited in his size and my wife isn't too keen on the crazy patterns. Budgy Smuggler's are good but folks here in the States are probably not familiar with the term "Budgy Smuggler" and it would be across my butt (however, they do look fun!)

Anyone else know of any other brands out there that I should consider? Any help would be appreciated!

Look through swimoutlet.com. Their sporti line may have what you are looking for.

they have suits for boys and men in the same colors

i dont think anyone would think twice about the logo, maybe they'd learn something

but if it really bothers you try emailing them, I know before i bought mine I thought about getting a pair without the logo on the back

if they have the sizes/colors u need in stock you may be able to get them without the logo.

Thanks for the idea about emailing them. It is a good option.

I did more research over the weekend and came up with Sundek (Italian) & HOM (French) both carry suits that are matching F&S. I really like some of the Sundek choices the best. With the Euro dropping against the dollar, prices are become more attractive each day. Turbo has some good choices but I can't find them small enough for him. I may have to wait a year for Turbos.

i've never heard of sluggers. i like their design but i'm a little weary of the description of the fit. does anyone have any pics of what they fit like on a normal human being, not an 11/10 model?

Turbo's site in Spain has toddler suits. I haven't found any US sites which carries that small of a suit. Now it comes down to which design....

I am going to keep this string alive and add links to brands that make matching father & son /family suits for reference as I come across them. Maybe it will help dad's introduce their kids to briefs at an early age and remove any fears of wearing them later in life....

I commend you for what you are dloing. The pictures of you and your sun in swimbriefs are nice and you have a lovely wife. Hopefully, I will find someone who appreciates swimbriefs like your wife does.

That's a great thought. In my family it's all we wore at the beach and pool. Speedos and as we got older never gave it a thought.

rmf, I don't think Bone Swimmer ships to the USA, but worth a shot....let us know if you get some.

Wow... I find it hard to focus on the suits. That girl is hot, hot hot. Her body is amazing. Those legs are spectacularly lovely.

I agree with you Dive guy, for a second there, I forgot what I was reading.

I'd totally would wear a matching suit like this but I would have to work on my better half. She is a little more modest when it comes to bikini's. We were actually considering matching Trina Turk suits earlier this season but I am the one who actually backed off the on idea. Trina Turk / Mr Turk has some bold matching men/women designs that I just don't think I could pull off. While they are very cool patterns wise, the men's swimsuits that actually matched the women's suits are a little of over the top for me. I do however, really like Mr Turk swimwear. I am not a purest and I'm ok with wearing what some of the folks here call a 'fashion' suit when I go to the beach. I swim at the gym several times a week and I always wear a 'sports' suit so when I am out having fun at the beach or on vacation, it's the fashion type for me.

Side note, I have been emailing a few brands about making some fun father / son suits. We will see if it goes anywhere.

SEX ON THE BEACH is what comes to my mind. I hope I can find a girlfriend like that - speedo friendly.

Here is a brand that has matching Father & Son AND Father & Daughter swimsuits. It's a small selection but doing research, it seems to be a regular thing. It's a little expensive but my kids would totally dig it.
