Does anyone know why some photos fail to upload but not others and is unrelated to image size? I've not had any issues until trying to upload in the last week or two. I use Tapatalk and really don't have any issues. Most are posting but I'll run across one that won't every now and then. It doesn't seem to be image size either because the ones that do upload are larger and smaller than the image size of the ones that are failing. I wonder if there's something in the META data that's causing it?

I get an error when trying to attach a picture to a private message. Not on an avatar or a topic.

I have recently been getting an error message that has never happened before - something like 'expecting a jpeg but wrong format'

This is the message "The extension jpeg is not allowed."

same i get the same error for jpeg format..

That is the message I get if I try to upload a picture to a private message. It seems that photos aren't allowed in PMs

Hi BJE, I have had pictures sent me in PM before. It's weird that the option is in the PM but you can't use it. Don't get it.

All,I know is that I have tried to send photos by PM and I've always gotten the cannot use jpeg notice. I've never gotten that notice when posting to the forum.

I hope DaveSpeedoEvans can shed some light on this.
