G'day guys,

I’m a huge fan of the ADIDAS 3-Stripe speedo, (click here: www.AussieSpeedoGuy.org/myadidasspeedos/) to see a bunch of my speedo selfies wearing them. I’m not sure what it is but they have been the same for years, they seem to fit me well, they don’t fade and the lycra material feels nice.

So when I put up today’s Photo of the Day I assumed this cute Asian guy was wearing an ADIDAS speedo.



But on closer inspection, it isn’t an ADIDAS 3-stripe, it is a Speedo 2-stripe.

Anyone ever owned these?

Yes, I have 2 of these, one black and one navy. I think they are called the Speedo 1" shore brief. They're basically the same as a Speedo Solar with the stripes.

It was called the Shoreline 1 Brief. Unfortunately, it's been discontinued, according to SwimOutlet, but there must be a few out there somewhere on the web. They have a Shoreline square cut, but it doesn't look very good. The U.S. market also had a grey stripe.

I have this suit! But in a White colorway with two black stripes. It's the Shoreline brief like the others above have said.

Wow, that must really look good. The discontinued Swimoutlet page also showed a red with black stripe. Why would Speedo ditch a classic look like this? But then, they've done such things before.

Here's one on Amazon in a size 30. (With the white stripe!) It would fit me, but I've spent enough on suits this month.
It's Navy though, even though the picture is black. The fine print.

I also have that suit but like the normal solar by speedo I don't like the front seam it has but to each their own. But better question what is the insta of this amazing man pictured above does he have me hot and bothered wow

The guy in that picture is somewhere on Twitter, but I forgot his username! He's a diver for a college in Alabama if I remember correctly.

You are right his name is Shumpei but his Twitter is private and not many insta pics unfortunately
