Wow. I'm surprised he didn't sell the brand to keep it running.

His stuff was never my style, but he had a lot of brand recognition built up.

I thought he would be able to sell it, but maybe when your name is prominently on the waistband, along with the little plus symbol tags, maybe he didn't want his name associated, in case they ran it into the ground.

The designs seemed to go through phases, maybe mirroring when he was in/out of a relationship. Some years, just good looking, comfortable, practical designs. Other years, very stripper-like designs you wouldn't wear all day.

I wasn't a big fan of AC designs, but wow...end of an era.

Early on I was a big fan of their briefs. Comfort beyond description. However in the last decade or so their designs became a bit too risqué for a straight guy like me.

Always found their plain Almost Naked briefs to be the comfiest I own!

It's not my style, and I don't see anything like it at the Beach any more. The factory is in California so he may not have to pay import tariffs, but I bet he is having trouble getting workers now.

This is a prime example of why this forum is trouble for me. I had no intention of buying new suits or underwear, and after browsing the sales found a few I couldn't resist!
