Adidas Tom Daley Trunks available only in Europe

Adidas and Tom Daley had recently launched a new collection based in his knitting designs and partially in Team GB swimwear designs. The collection includes swim trunks (briefs) and shorts, women's one piece and bikini. Sadly, for somewhat unknown reason Adidas decided that the swim trunks would be available only in Europe, with the other items available worldwide. As I'm currently in Australia, I had to buy the blue/red swim trunks from Adidas UK and send it to a freightforwarding service which can send me the package to Australia for an additional fee. Is someone else in this forum interested in getting the Tom Daley swim trunks but doesn't have them available in their local Adidas website or authorized sellers due to living outside Europe? Why do you think that Adidas decided to limit the local availability of the Tom Daley swim trunks but not the rest of the collection?

G'day mate,
I tried to order those as well and had the same issue.
Could you send me the specifics of how you did it?
Thanks.
Dave

I really like the blue/red ones.
I don't think Adidas sells any men's swimwear here in the USA.

First I had to open an account in a freightforwarder website which can give me an address in the UK. I chose Forward2me but there are other similar services like Shipito and other more that I can't remember right now. Then I bought the swim brief from Adidas UK and put the freightforwarder's UK address to be sent there. Each freightforwarder has a slightly different way to handle parcels when they arrive to the warehouse but it's mostly choosing a shipping method to your country, paying the shipping fee and then waiting for the parcel (better if the shipping method has tracking).

I couldn't get them on the US market/ shipped directly from the UK store so I also am trying Forward2me for the first time. It's not super complex but also you have to read through things a bit and it's a multi step process that you have to keep on top of or the process stops. If FedEx doesn't muck up final delivery, I may have them tomorrow! It is an extra 32.5 pounds ($40 something US) which I expected to be about the same if I ordered 1 or 4 pairs so I tossed in a few classic 3 stripe briefs as well while I was at it to make it worth while even though my credit card statement was mad at me... oh well. I'll send pix once I get them in! It's going to be a hot week here in Chicago so as long as the Thunderstorms hold off, hopefully I'll be able to get to take them for a dip in the lake!

My Adidas Europe order did come in last week but sadly work prevented me from taking any of them for a spin until today when I got in my first mile swim in the darker blue pair. So far I'm in love with them - they look good and feel good in and out of the water!
I got two 3 stripe briefs in the order as well. The sides on them are way bigger than I remember seeing in pictures and not exactly my style but oh well- I'm sure I'll still wear them once in a while during winter indoor lap swim season to switch things up once in a while.

Love the dark blue ones!

Based on your profile picture, it could have been though. I very much like the look of body types like yours.

Just wow! You could easily be mistaken for the model!
They must be made with strong lycra!!

For shipping to Australia I chose the cheapest method which was Forward2Me Lite. It doesn't include tracking, so I had to patiently wait for the parcel to arrive. It finally arrived home in Tasmania (living here for some months due to work) in almost 10 days and it was sent through Royal Mail using a non-trackable method (with barcode UXxxxxxxxxxGB). I had a lot of work these days and also I got an annoying cold due to the weather here and the cold environment at work, so I hadn't time nor will of taking pics with the swimsuit but I will soon when I feel better and I'll post them here.

Also from Australia, I looked for them in Swiminn but I couldn't find anything related. Maybe they put stock after I bought them from Adidas UK.
