I forgot to mention a couple of other benefits of wearing speedos. One is the boost to your self-respect to know you're wearing the right kind of swimsuit regardless of what some other people think or say about you, and another is the example you're setting for other guys to grow a pair and bag their buffoonish bathing burquas.

I don’t feel the least bit self conscious wearing them except at water parks. I haven’t worn one at a water park yet but some day I’ll get the nerve. The problem with water parks is that you spend much more time walking around crowds of people and standing in lines rather than being in the water or laying on a chair.

As far as my bulge is concerned I don’t feel self conscious unless it’s a suit that really puts it out there.

I don’t feel naked or exposed. I don’t mind showing my thighs and the shape of my butt.

I have worn one at Atlantis and Disney water parks. They are more common at Disney than other water parks, probably because of the large number of Latin American and European attendees.
