Another great use of Speedo brief - riding Peloton bike

Post by Speedoguy1971 » Mon Apr 07, 2025 5:00 am

I find my Speedo brief the most comfortable and supportive garment I have for Peloton bike workouts. Have other guys in tried this? We should plan a group ride.

No Peloton, but I have ridden my recumbent bike/rower machine in them. With the pool being too cold this winter to swim exercise, I bought a mountain bike and have been tempted to wear my speedo out for a ride, while waiting for the water to warm back up. Too hot to ride fully clothed, but water is too cold to swim in.

Any bike short recommendations from anyone? I don't like them too long, and I prefer material that is not as stiff as regular ones.

Face it….all of us guys here like minimalism… but, I don’t wear my speedo for outdoor rides. I wear and highly recommend 2XU tri shorts. I think mine are 7 or 8 inch inseam. Fabric is terrific. I like the tri style pad which does the job and is minimal. Also I like their shorter length and especially their lower rise. They don’t come up high like most bike shorts.
