Hey guys, went to the U today for a swim exhibition and water polo tourny. Took some pics (of which I will be posting some later) and felt a little weird. Is there some technique to NOT looking like a weirdo taking pics at an event. There were other people there with cameras and such, and maybe it was cause it was my first time (lol).
Anyway, I'd apprec some tips/info on getting good pics and such.

G'day Guys,
Welcome to the Speedo Forum.
If you are a guest, you can only see a small portion of the forum. Members like posting their speedo selfies so I don't like that to be 100% public. However, joining is free.

As SpeedoMike says.
Act as if you are a pro. One of the best tips is to try to make sure you have a few guys in the shot. That way you might waste several shots but now and then you will get one you want (i.e. a particular guy etc.. If someone does challenge you can can always point to the shots you have taken as being "general". If you have a very close up of just one guys arse it might look a little suspect!
I always find lifesaving events to be the easiest to shoot as there are always hundreds of people running around and one can shoot to one's heart's content.

in the olden days when real men used film, great photographers said the cheapest thing in photography was film. when you go to all the trouble and expense of taking pics, what's the cost of another 36 exposure roll of Kodachrome in the scheme of things?...you might waste several shots but now and then you will get one you want (i.e. a particular guy etc..
Memory today is free cuz you can reuse it. That's better than free film; and there are no Kodak processing charges either. People who shot one roll of film now take hundreds of pics. :D
