Any suggestions for a new suit?

Post by solarguy » Mon Sep 14, 2015 2:26 pm

I'll be heading to the Caribean in a few weeks and was thinking I would like to get a patterned suit. Not really sure what I'm looking for, just something with a little more pizzaz than my solid colored Solars. I'm looking for something similarly cut to the Solar too, don't want big, fat sides! Do any of you have any good suggestions? Let me know!! Thanks guys!

What about this one? http://squeezedog.com/jan-high-cut-blue ... ikini.html

I ordered a suit from them a few months ago. It is one of my top 5 favorite suits, and I'm a big Solar fan. The shipping from the Netherlands was quick and the quality is good.

Solar, you could never disappoint any beach with any of your Solars, so if you travel with just them, where you go will be enhanced regardless of a new suit!

That said, I just bought a couple new "WAPO" suits at an outrageously expensive price, but love both of them. Great texture, lovingly feel, and just the right fit overall!
Let's keep it brief.

Thanks Snow! I'm sure I'll have a couple of my Solars with me. I just checked out Wapo…nice stuff!! Which suits did yo get? We need pics!!! Love that Squeezedog suit Merken! Giving it some serious consideration. And Red, I ordered two Vuthy suits…black and brown…no pattern or print. I love the American flag suit, just not sure I'd be comfortable wearing it! A suit like that draws lots of attention. I'm confident…just not sure if i'm "that" confident!!!

Squeezedog has some nice suits. Vuthy definitely has some awesome suits! I wonder if the bikinis are as small as they appear?

So far my two favorite manufactures are marcuse and JOR. Here is a link to a JOR suit. One of my girlfriend's favorites
http://www.amazon.com/JOR-0034-Sailor-S ... =p_4%3AJor
They fit great and have enough room in the "pouch"
This next link is my favorite suit that I own. The marcuse suits don't have as much room in the pouch, but it is enough for me

These are both more "designer" suits than sports suits. Where are you headed in the Caribbean? Any questions, feel free to contact me. Love taking swim briefs

Just got my new Vuthy suits. They are VERY skimpy. They seem to be very good quality, but they are single lined and they do show everything. I normally like to point to the side. There is no option in this suit…you've gotta point yourself down. I'm used to wearing the very small Solars, but I'm not sure I have enough confidence to wear this Vuthy suit in public.

Wear it, wear it! It looks fantastic on you! I totally love brown speedos, especially tiny little bikini-like ones such as this one. Dude, if the beaches you're heading to are even the slightest bit speedo friendly, wear that suit!

I Think they look great. I tried to find one on the Vuthy site, but no luck. Can you post a link to where you found them?

Wow - fantastic suit. You look really hot in that.

I don't think it's too skimpy - it's brief for sure, but not over the top. Definitely take it, and post us some pics!!

You made a wise choice Solar, skimpy, but not too shimpy, but yet benign enough that people won't notice the VPL in the unlined suit.....unless you find yourself admiring that certain individual and things start to grow.....

Enjoy the suit in the sun! Please post how the trip went, both pic and story wise.
