Mertailor

Post by rozelle » Mon Jan 01, 2018 6:01 am

Hey guys,

So there is a big sale from Mertailor and it's still going on now. For those of you who don't know Mertailor makes mermaid and merman tails, leggings, swimsuits and other things related to mermaid and merman. I love mermaids and since there's a big sale I picked these bad boys up they're only $5! What do you guys think?

I really like that suit. However I went to their website and it seems their briefs are all sold out.

Rozelle. those fit you perfectly. Cool print. I thought I knew most speedo style suit manufacturers, and I'd never heard of this brand. And I sure didn't know where to find a merman suit. There must be a demand for them. You do have to buy a monofin to go with them to make them swimmable. That adds about $45, unless you own one already.

I was able to order the same suit as Rozelle. Click on <specials> and then click <clearance>. There was another gateway, but I couldn't find it a second time. Their web site is a little quirky.

I ordered the brief for five bucks and some leggings for yoga for ten bucks. The leggings had been $49.
I've ordered running tights for yoga, and I just don't like how they fit, so maybe these will be better.

The company is in central Florida where they have underwater theater in the clear springs there. Merpeople must be a big draw. Never seen it.

Awesome!

Maybe this direct URL will work

https://www.themertailor.com/swimwear-23/mens.html

They have suits for $20 on sale too. Or you can pay 65.00 for board shorts....

They have some nice suits, good prices on sale, too. I wish they showed other angles, though, so we could see how they fit in the butt. I prefer a smaller backside, like a solar

Size question. Do you think you would order your regular pant waist size or would you measure yourself at the level where the swimsuit waistband would rest. I'd guess regular pant size but the size chart sort of indicates waistband level. In pant size I wear 32 which would be medium but if I measure at suit waistband level I'm more like 35". However I never wear large so I can't imagine buying a large.

I don't have the monofins maybe someday I'll buy them but not now as I'm broke af lol. oh there is a whole community of merpeople! they even have mercon where you will see a lot of people in mermaid tails everywhere. and yes I bought the leggings too! black and grape purple. really didn't like the purple one but cannot return it as it was a clearance item. and I was annoyed when I check back and they were $10, it was $15 when I bought them!! lol. don't forget to post pics of your new merman suit here! ;)

pant size BJE. I would trust their sizing. everything fits perfect and I followed their size chart. if I have to complain there is only one thing that kinda bothers me and that is... there is this extra fabric in the area between your anus and your balls. there is enough extra fabric that it bothers me cause it doesn't look flattering as I like everything to be clean looking and tight fitting. but other than that it's perfect and beautiful! if you don't think you'll fit a large you can go with medium I think. you like skimpy suit anyway don't you?

Rozelle, the suit looks great on you but I ordered four styles in two sizes each and none of them fit real well. I ordered both small and medium. I tried them on with bikini underwear on for higiene. The mediums are all too large. The leg openings gap in the crotch area and if it wasn’t for the underwear my testicles would hang out. The smalls are better but I’m still not crazy about the fit. I’ll probably only keep two of them.

This confirms the fact that I like major brand serious swimwear such as Speedo, Sporti, TYR best. Anything with the strings on the outside is a fashion suit and just doesn’t fit me well.

I ordered and received the small. It fits me okay. It's more for resort wear than lap swimming. They do offer an extra small, and I might try one. The fabric is very stretchy and very comfortable. Even though it has more butt coverage than some suits, it looks decent enough.

The fabric of the Mertailor suit is not nearly as stretchy as the fabric of the Speedo, Sporti or TYR. They tend to be really tight but stretch to fit.

Ok, so I just bought 2. Received them in 2 days.

I would agree, that they are resort wear.
