Ryke Racer Speedos

Post by SCC » Wed Jul 31, 2024 9:29 am

I've done a search for Ryke and only found one post.

Does anyone have any Rykes? They look great from the pics I've seen and I'm considering getting some to take to Lanzarote.

If so, what's the sizing, quality and fit like?

https://rykeswim.com/

Thanks!

Ryke ships from Australia, that is a long way from the UK and may involve Customs delays too. You would probably get back from Lanzarote before they arrived. I wear briefer bikinis and thongs than that, but I am also a cyclist.

I usually wear 31 or 32 (jeans)
I bought these one in S, maybe I should have bought an M instead. As it fits a bit tight and stretch out.
For a 30 sizing I would say S, for a 32, an M.
I really enjoy them, good quality.
Shipping took about 2 weeks (but is unpredictable....)

Thanks Otobias!
That's great to know, I'll go small I think.
Are they racer or classic?

Is that the Hunter color? I am looking into these, from the good reviews from you guys. How accurate are the colors compared to the website? I've seen some discrepancies in the pictures they have on their website. And do they have any sales during the year?

Yea, the color in his pic is the Hunter. The colors are fairly accurate in my experience (I have the Becks and Hunter). But only judge by the photo of the suit against the plain white background and not on the model photos. The photos with the models seem color adjusted and therefore not as reliable.

As for sales, I think they do one on around Black Friday. So far this year, they've had two 10% off sales, but you'd only know that if you're subbed to their email newsletters. If I had to guess, maybe they do a 10% off sale quarterly?

Speaking of sales, they apparently just started a 20% sale that's going on from now until June 30 :!:

Thanks, got the email. Unfortunately I just $pent on a sale at Todd Sanfield. I don't know anything about TS suits, but at least shipping is within the US, where I am. I've never bothered to return anything from Australia, just postmarked it and moved on. I'm unsure of the Ryke sizing, especially since I'm looking at the classic instead of the racer, which I don't see any posts on the classic. And the ones I really want are out of stock in my size, Small or Medium; Cooper or Tucker.

I’m a big Todd Sanfield fan …. Mostly underwear fromTS. His quality is great. Always comfortable. His swim briefs are nice too….i lean towards more athletic brands.
