Speedo Solar Sizing

Post by Speedomate » Mon Jul 21, 2025 11:24 pm

HEYO!

I've decided I would like to order some Speedo Solars. A classic!

I noticed when looking some reviews said they are a bit smaller than other speedo briefs?

Could anyone advise if I should go a size up? Or should I just order my usual?

Reviews

Thank you!

I only have one pair, only worn one time, a month ago. But it's because I have several dozen others that I already like, and the sides are shorter than I typically wear. I normally wear Small/X-Small in other brands, size 29-31 in jeans. I bought the heather gray size 30 and they fit perfectly. Very comfortable to swim in. I bought them on swimoutlet on sale for US$30.

By smaller they could just be referring to side width ( originally 1 inch 2.54cm newer ones are now closer to 2 inch ) but still narrower than regular a regular speedo. I just order by my waist size and have never had a problem with them fitting. I have owned a version since basically they were introduced.
