TYR Review

I was wondering what your opinions are on the TYR speedos. Do they fit well, are they ''flattering,'' what's the fabric like, which one's to avoid, whether you get them in the UK with the 5cm panels and would you recommend them over an official Speedo? Thanks

Cozzy--

Not sure about the UK. I've had a couple US TYRs. I think they are a little bit better made. They have triple stitch seams and the Speedos are double. The prints are a softer lycra than the solids and splices. Seem to ride just a little lower than Speedos. Showed my bulge okay. I had a TYR splice...black with red stripe. The lycra was kinda rough.

Hello Cozzy,

I do not know whether you are interested in the fabric being 100% nylon, and I can't comment about the TYR suits, but seeing that you have referred to the Speedo cozzies as being an alternative to the TYR, you may care to look at the website for Caussie. This swimwear follows from the change that Speedos did in going from their 100% nylon swimwear to their Endurance fabric, which left a lot of people disappointed in no longer being able to get 100% nylon speedos. Hence, the creation of Caussie.

If you like 100% nylon, then this might be for you, it would be a pleasure to supply a Caussie to a Cozzy.

Enjoy!

i have many tyr's and they are fabulous, just as nice as speedos and the feel makes you so horny.

when i bought my first one years ago, i asked the salesman(owner of the store) how do they look, and he then put hit fingers in the back of the suit, he said to check the fit, then did the same to the front, teasing me, i loved it by touching my ever rising rod! i would recommend tyr's not only because of this experience, but the fit is silky sexy! dhs

Cozzy,

The same brand can license different suits by country. TYR may do that. For example, Japan Speedo brand is way different from US/UK/Europe. I have a Speedo brand from Thailand thats sized like US but cut lower like Japan.

If you can find a real store in the U.K. that actually sells both TYR and Speedo brand, you can get a better idea. Better than buying online for sure.

When I was in high school here in Florida there was a store that sold a bunch of brands mostly to teams and you could check out the different suits. But they went on-line only. The chain sporting goods stores here have a few suits but way less than that local other store had.

TRY fell great. When you are buying them just be aware that there are 3 different types of fabric.
